Rectangular wooden printing block with overlay showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting casting jet, or waste metal, from an axehead or celt mould from Somerset, oval in shape with a smoothed upper edge, and two protrusions, one rounded and one pointed, at its bottom edge. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: printer's waste paper attached to surface.
