Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting the obverse and reverse sides of an alloy object, speculated to be a ceremonial sword pommel, in an elongated hexagonal shape, from East Farndon, Northamptonshire. The obverse shows decorative ribbon-like patterns in a figure-of-eight style looping round a thin, vertical structure, and the reverse shows a design of a bird. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: printer's waste paper attached to surface.
