Square wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting reverse of seal impression from Dunfermline Abbey; showing a representation of Jesus Christ, within a lozenge shape; flanked by four angelic figures. With legend. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: several inscriptions on surface; 'Soc of Antiq', 'Antiq', 'P5 2S' and a further illegible inscription obscured by traces of printer's waste.
