Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting chimney from a house in Cahors, in the Occitania region of France; very tall, with three faces of brickwork visible, interrupted by a ring of lancet windows, and forming a spire at the top. Signed 'G. BOUET. del' and 'O. JEWITT. sc' at the bottom. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: handwritten publication reference and engraver's signature on surface.
