Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting bronze knife from Lower Saxony, Germany; with a mostly flat surface and the tang turned inwards; decorated with carving depicting crudely-drawn figure holding an oar sat in a boat, with the stern rising upwards into a spiral, and a fish to the left, next to the bow. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: printer's waste paper attached to surface with handwritten engraver's signature.
