Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting inscribed stone from the choir of Saint-Pierre Abbey in Moissac, in the Occitania region of France; inscribed in Latin over six lines. Signed 'O. JEWITT. del & SC' at bottom left. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: two handwritten publication reference on surface, with small traces of printer's waste paper.
