Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting a bowl-shaped Anglo-Saxon glass drinking cup; stood on its rim, with its rounded base at the top. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: manufacturer's mark carved into surface, along with further handwritten publication reference obscured by printer's waste paper.
