Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting twelfth century consecration stone from the cloisters of Saint-Pierre Abbey in Moissac, in the Occitania region of France; in a rectangular border with curved corners, inscribed in Latin over fourteen lines. Signed 'O. JEWITT. del & SC' in bottom left curved corner. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: two handwritten publication references on surface, with small fragments of printer's waste paper.
