Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting ornate architectural feature, probably from the Church of Saint Léger in Cognac, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France; showing two captials stood on columns, decorated with floral patterns; joined with decorative cornice with repeated mouldings, resembling the 'dogtooth' pattern and additional floral motifs; with brickwork above the feature. Signed 'G Bouet del' and 'O. JEWITT. SC' at the bottom. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: two handwritten publication references on surface.
