Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting a blade with a wooden handle, with a small magnified carving of a gilt letter ('I') to the right. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: printer's waste attached to surface obscuring manufacturer's stamp, and an additional carved inscription, possibly 'Rimbault'.
Digitised thanks to the kind donation of Mr Lowell Libson FSA.
