Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting a plate of a series of bronze and iron weapons from Siberia; three daggers, and one axehead, with its section view to the right. Signed 'HSB', in the bottom left corner. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: printer's waste paper with type attached to surface, which covers an inscription handwritten in black ink, probably 'Barton'.
Digitised thanks to the kind donation of Sir Paul Ruddock FSA.
