Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting internment within a coffin in Westminster Abbey, based on a drawing undertaken during its excavation; denoting the position of the bones following their re-internment, and captions for reference in the publication source. Signed 'GS' and 'Utting': the artist's and engraver's signatures, respectively. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: manufacturer's stamp on surface along with the engraver's presumable working address, a handwritten publication reference and unattributed number.
