This Hatchet of Stone was found in Some boggy ground about 10 feet under the Surface, on an Estate in the Manor of Draycot [sic] in the Co. of Stafford. The wooden handle, to which it was originally attached, had nearly mouldered, but the impression in the soil was distinguishable - Now in the possession of Thos Wilson Esq of Wooton park Stafford[shire].
