A letter dated 26 February 1837 from W Wood at Worcester to Dr Prattinton at Bewdley. The letter refers to the pulpit shown in Prattinton VIII 25.31.1. It reads:
Agreeable to yr request I called upon the Revd A Wheeler but he knew of no reason why it is called Latimer's pulpit except from common report.
