    A letter dated 26 February 1837 from W Wood at Worcester to Dr Prattinton at Bewdley. The letter refers to the pulpit shown in Prattinton VIII 25.31.1. It reads: Agreeable to yr request I called upon the Revd A Wheeler but he knew of no reason why it is called Latimer's pulpit except from common report. I likewise called on Mr Lucy who says he can satisfy any one on the authenticity of it but will not part with it under the sume he named (£25) he informing me he has been offerd nearly that sum...
