This Coffin was considered as a Seat and used as such 'till the falling of a beam broke off the corner of the lid and discovered the cavity for the head and the Scull in it. On the 26th August 1801 it was opened; all the bones were found in Order, but no Chalice, Crosier or plate of lead.
