2 The Sword of Charlemagne with which the Emperors of Germany were girt at their Coronation was by tradition, with other presents sent to Charlemagne by the renowned Abasside Califf Haroun al Raschid, removed from Aix la Chapelle to Vienna.

2 inches wide. the handle & upper and lower part of the sheath of the finest arabian gold. The 2 rims of the handle have jewells - the middle part of the sheath of black leather, the inside of it horn
