A cast in plaster, coloured as a facsimile of the original, representing a small portion of the Bayeux Tapestry, being the upper part of a figure of the Conqueror, given from the drawings by Charles Stothard in the Vetusta Monumenta, vol. vi. pl. XVII. This facsimile cast was made by him at the time when, in the capacity of historical draughtsman to the Society, he was permitted to make drawings of every part of that Tapesty in the years 1816 and 1817.
