Papers of Ivan Donald Margary, FSA (1897-1976) relating to Roman roads. Margary published Roman Ways of the Weald (1948) and Roman Roads in Britain (2 vols., 1955, 1957). He was a member of The Viatores (an association devoted to the study of Roman roads) and contributed to Roman Roads of the South-East Midlands (1964).
