Small leather-bound Commercial Ledger/Annual Memorandum Book 1834. Printed information includes various tables and lists of commercial and general interest including lists of bankers in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, directors of Public Companies, British Consuls Abroad, Hackney Carriage Rates, Interest Tables and Lists of Assessed Taxes and Stamp Duties. At rear of the book are a List of the House of Peers and a List of the House of Commons, Kings Ministers, Judges, Armed Forces, Ambassadors. Middle pages comprise short handwritten diary notes and itemised household weekly cash accounts (receipts and expenses) of day to day events, duties, visits and callers.
