Cloth binding, brown. Repaired and rebound by the PRO, 1989. Scribbles on the last blank verso include the name Jo: Corey.
Scope and content
A professional compilation from various sources, including Nicholas Upton and Gerard Legh, with many references to bearers of arms; with painted shields. Dateable to after 1606 (reference to Charles, earl of Devon, i.e. Charles Blount, d. 1606, on fol 29).
Imperfect at start and possibly at end: present contents run from section I, chapter II, to section VI, chapter VI.

Loose at front of volume: MS notes by John A Goodall, describing contents of fols 1-23, about one-third of the volume as it survives.
