Scope and content
The main body of the notebook appears to be an out-letter book recording HSL’s letters to four people who were contributing to the ‘New Papworth’ project, 1944-1946, with their incoming letters to HSL tucked in loose.

Loose at front: correspondence with FN Davis, H Goode, Reverend EP Baker and others, 1944-46, concerning work on the new Papworth; typescripts of ‘La Controverse Scrope-Grosvenor-Carminow’ and ‘Pierced, Voided, Umbrated and Quarter-Pierced’ both by HS London; notes and correspondence with Michael Maclagan, Slaines Pursuivant, related to Arthurian heraldry, 1951.
