Notebook containing a thorough history of Hackney Church, including accounts of the tower, a whipping post found in the bell ringer's chambers and notable people involved with the church. There are also some loose papers, including handwritten notes, newspaper clippings and prints and engravings showing the medieval church as it would have been pre 18th Century refurbishment.
