Hardback notebook containing histories and descriptions of religious sites in England, organised by religious order, with monks and nuns also being separated into separate categories. This entry includes Grandmontine, Cluniac, Clunaic Nuns, Cisterian, Carthusian, Gilbertine and Augustinian and Augustinian Canonesses. Some contain specific details such as inventories while others have bibliographic references for times they were mentioned in historic texts, and there are newspaper clippings, photographs, floor plans and handwritten research notes for the entries and they are arranged alphabetically for each category.
