Hardback notebook containing rough notes on places associated with portable altars; there is a list of each site with bibliographic reference given for each entry. There are also inventory lists for sites detailing items procured over a range of years, including hair cloth, candlesticks, frontals and retables. Additionally there are details of the additional consecration crosses visible on a number of sites, including Durham and Salisbury as well as a table detailing the removal and addition of elements of some churches over the course of the final three Tudor reigns.
