Envelopes arranged alphabetically by town within Devon containing research notes and histories on pre-reformation altars and other features such as reredos, including sketches, with dimensions given for some examples, drawings, floor plans, tracings, correspondence, floor plans and postcards. There is a significant entry for Exeter Cathedral with notes covering a number of chapels and their existing altars and histories and there is also a small printed guidebook of the site. There is also a published short history of Huntshaw and a guidebook to Shaugh Prior.
