Handwritten excerpts from a number of wills, ranging from the 14th-16th Century, which mention altars, sometimes in relation to a specific bequest and other times in relation to burials. There are also some miscellaneous notes which relate to altars, including a note detailing a payment of 4s 4d made at St. Peter's Church, Sheffield for the removal of the altar during the reformation.
