Notebook containing handwritten quotations and references relating to historic churches and describing suspected pre-reformation altars and their locations in some instances. The information varies from short notes on the subject to full descriptions of the whole building, depending on location, which are not arranged in any particular order. They include churches in Ebchester, St. Pancras and Ubley as well as Lincoln Minster, and full bibliographic notes are included.
