Report on the manorial records of the manor of Sidmouth, Devon, by Peter Orlando Hutchinson, local secretary for Devonshire. Submitted, 14 Oct. 1886 (Hutchinson's letter, fol. ii), in response to a circular issued by SA, 17 March 1886, a copy of which is inserted (fols. iii, iv). Reference (fols. 1-2) to Hutchinson's MS history of Sidmouth in five volumes (bequeathed to Exeter Museum). Offprint (Trans. of the Devonshire Assoc., 1875) of Hutchinson's paper on the population of Sidmouth bound in (fols. 18a-c); coloured lithograph map, with MS notes by Hutchinson, reduced from a large map in the possession of the lord of the manor (fol. 53a).
