A descriptive list (fols. 1-28v) of earthworks, Roman antiquities and medieval remains, etc., illustrated by the author with pen drawings, etc. Followed (fols. 29-64v) by a series of letters to Christopher Knight Watson, Sec. SA, communicating further antiquities, with many illustrations, including w/cols, 10 Aug. 1868-8 May 1879 (letters of 10, 19 Aug. 1868 printed in Proc., 2nd ser., 4 (1867-70), 159-61).
