Paper folder, containing drafts for the figures and captions in Archaeologia 58.
1. A card noting the signs used to denote different types of finds in the figures.
2. Pencil drafts for 'Lower part of stones below datum line'.
3. List of 'Large hammer stones I-VIII'.
4. Sketches showing 'Demonstration of setting up stone in rubble', relating to stone 56. 3 sheets, one with a cut-out piece.
Not used in Archaeologia 58 (1902), but see Stallybrass's letter to Gowland, 13 October 1901: GOW/01/01, no. 47.
5. Sketch marked 'Excav. 5', probably an early draft for what became fig 13, p 54, in Archaeologia 58.
6. Ink sketch on tracing cloth mounted on squared paper, marked 'Excavation I', with in red ink 'No. 3': an early partial draft for what became fig 8, p 48, in Archaeologia 58.
7. Ink sketch on tracing cloth, mounted on squared paper, marked 'Excavation II Section through middle', and in red ink 'No. 4': an early draft for what became fig 9, p 49, in Archaeologia 58; on the back, a rapid sketch towards what became fig7.

A list of the Stonehenge stones showing the Hoare and Petrie numbers, with a reference to Nevil Story Maskelyne's article in The Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Magazine, XVII (1877-1878), pp 147-60.
Instructions for the work to be done, including what should be photographed [in the 1901 excavations]. 1 sheet.
