Level of description

Scope and content
This slide is mislabelled – it shows a Romanesque style round headed doorway in large stonework. The parish church of St Paul, Birkenshaw is a gothic revival commissioner’s church of 1829-30 and has two exterior doors both in the pointed style and coursed stonework.

This image is not of St Mary, Birkin, Yorkshire (as are some other slides mislabelled as Birkenshaw) but it has not been identified where.
