Handwritten white label – K. 1503 Lincoln Cath. Two printed label Arcade, Cloisters and Lincoln Cathedral. Image of the top of a single gothic arch which is part of the blind cloister arcade. The arch features a dogtooth design between smooth ribs. The image shows a carved man’s grotesque face and to one side carved stone fleur-de-Lys whilst on other side intertwined fish tails but the overall creatures are indistinct. The capitals are decorated with carved flowing greenery.
