Diary of travels in July 1906 to, from and around Norway. Itinerary comprises a 13 day cruise from Hull via: Norheimsund; Odde [Odda] (with an excursion to Lotefos Falls); Eide, Hardanger Fjord (with an excursion to Vossevangen and Bergen); Bergen; Gudvangen, Sogne Fjord (with an excursion to Stalheim); Molde; Trondhjem [Trondheim] (with an excursion to Feldsaeter); Merok, Geiranger Fjord; Loen and Olden, Nord Fjord (with a glacier excursion, Kendelsbrae portion); and Bergen.

Includes observations on landscapes, flora, agricultural practices, excursions, fishing, life on board the boat, churches, sightings of the Royal family, together with:
* Cuttings from a Norwegian cruise leaflet;
* Manuscript instructions for preparing stockfish; on headed paper ‘MEDDELELSE, Olaf Runshang, Kommissionsforretning’;
* List of flowers seen in Norway [apparently gathered by JTF on his travels and ‘identified by WF’].
