Diary of travels in Italy, continued from FOW/01/46, including Rome, Pisa and Genoa, as well as return journey to Winterton via Turin, Paris, London and Doncaster.

A numbered table of contents is included, highlighting sights seen including:
* Rome – various churches and classical sites (including Hebrew inscriptions form S Gregorio)
* Pisa – Duomo, leaning tower (with small drawing), Campo Santo, S. Catarina;
* Genoa – Campo Santo, Duomo.

Back of book includes notes of ‘Forbes’ peripatetic lectures, from rough jottings done at the time’, covering Palatine, Colosseum, Forum Romanum, Appian Way, Catacomb of San Sebastian, Tivoli and Hadrian’s Villa. Also included is a hand drawn map of Campus Martius.
