The diary continues in 1891 with travel in the North of England (visits to Durham Chapter House, Bedlington, High Force Waterfall, Barnard Castle/Bowes Museum, Kirk Hammerton, Winterton, Holderness, Appleby –‘The Isle’), Holland (visits to Dordrecht, Bread, Bois-le-Duc, Grave, Gennep), and Germany (visits to Kranenburg, Kleve, Wesel, Xanten, Schermbeck, Haltern am See, Munster).
