Single bound volume of notes relating to monumental brasses of Shropshire arranged in alphabetical order of place names, with preface and index with numbered pages. Generally includes a description of the brass, its location, size and inscription. Bound into the volume and forming the major part of the volume, is a printed article on Shropshire Brasses by Mill Stephenson from “A List of the Monumental Brasses of The British isles” with additional handwritten notes by the author. Includes a list of descriptions of the Arms on the Monumental Brasses in alphabetical order of families. Also includes author’s notes on Non-Conformist Brasses In Shropshire.
