Folder containing various media types relating to the following locations: Prittlewell, Purfleet, Purleigh, Quendon, Rainham, Ramden Bellhouse, Ramsden Crays, Ramsey, Rawreth, Rayleigh, Rayne, Reltendon, Rivenhall, Rochford, Romford, Roding (Abess, Aythorpe, Beauchamp, High, Leaden, Margaret and White) and Roxwell. The collection includes prints, sketches, drawings, watercolours, newspaper clippings, maps, printed articles and portraiture. They detail churches, architectural features, heraldic crests and coats of arms, memorial monuments, antiques, landscapes, notable locals and historic buildings. There is a short excerpt from 'The Windsor Magazine' on surviving folkloric customs around Rochford, another on golfing resorts and some information relating the life of John Thurloe. All items are mounted on sheets of cardstock.
