Folder containing various types of media relating to the following locations: Colchester, Cold Norton, Copford, Corringham, Cressing, Dagenham, Danbury, Debden & Dedham. The collection includes newspaper articles, prints, postcards, sketches, Coats of Arms, engravings of seals and other antiques, maps and portraiture - both photographic and illustrative examples. They detail landscapes, churches, memorial monuments and local notable people, including Boadicea, Samuel Parr, Francis Walsingham with some articles on Constable. Also, a handwritten note and silhouette sent by Jayne Taylor, as well as a number of wedding and death announcements and adverts for Colchester based businesses. All items are mounted on sheets of cardstock.
