Folder containing various types of media relating to Colchester, including the castle, churches and High Street. The collection includes prints, photographs, newspaper articles, watercolours, sketches, postcards and floor plans. They detail churches, monuments, architectural features, stained glass windows, landscapes and scenes of daily life. Also includes articles on auctions held in Colchester for Jacobite glassware, an article relating to a hoard of 10,000 coins unearthed in the town and details of the many Roman finds discovered in the area, including a bust of Caligula and a statue of a sphinx along with programmes for the Colchester Oyster Feast and a cartoon history of the town. All items are mounted on sheets of cardstock.
