This volume contains full descriptions and analysis of three British Library (formerly British Museum) rolls: Add. MS 6301; Add. MS 23732; Add. MS 4977.

Lists and illustrates marks using a personal (Ticehurst) system – thus within BL Add MS 6301 each mark given a unique number according to place on page, eg ‘6301.36.B3’.

A name index (of owners of swan marks) at end of volume.
