This folder contains 20 sets of handwritten notes and drawings as follows:
1. Greek and Latin rubbings with notes, transcription and translations form Rome, 1846;
2. Small folder titled Chalice with notes and drawings including finely detailed coloured drawing of a chalice labelled Bibl. du Roi. Paris, a fine pencil drawing of a fifteenth century chalice labelled Pratt. Lond. Oct 1840 and six pencil chalice sketches labelled Microlexicon; two small folders titled Crosier, pastoral staff containing notes and fine pencil and colour drawings of crosiers in Amiens, Paris and London;
3. Drawings of chancel at Holbrook, Suffolk together with photographs by B Kelly of Lincoln of statuary and a note on chessmen gifts to churches in the Middle Ages;
4. Notes and drawings on altars, altar-hangings and items placed on the altar;
5. Notes on papal vestments and pallium, with drawings of the pins used to fasten the pallium, rubbings in Latin and a small pencil drawing of Franciscan vestments and altar decoration;
