Rev. Dr. Woide presented three small tracts, Observations Philologica Critica ad Vaticinia Jesaia 4, Accuratios Manuscriptorum quibus Versio N.T. Philoxeniana continetur Catalogus 8, and some anecdotes of the MSS and the Library of the Duke of Saxe Gotha.
The Society for the Encouragement of Arts and Commerce presented the fifth volume of their Transactions, for the year 1788.
The Royal Society of Gottingen presented the eighth volume of their Commentationes.
Mr. Nichols presented the 48th No. of his Bibliotheca Britannica.
Rev. Dr. Kippis presented Life of Captain James Cook, written by him.
Rev. Mr. Carthew presented an engraved print of the Church of Woodbridge, Suffolk.
Read a letter from Mr. Cooke giving an account of the particulars of the discovery of the fragment of a corpse of an abbot in Gloucester.
Read a letter sent by Sir Joseph Banks from Thomas Babington Esq. regarding a small cross and some coins found near his house at Rothby Temple in Leicestershire.
Read a letter from Major Rooke regarding some druidical remains lately discovered by him near Hopton in Derbyshire.
