The following Fellows were admitted to the Society: Robert Earl Ferrers, Leonard Morse, Richard Pettiward.

The Bishop of Carlisle exhibited a small steel Eagle, supposed to be a Roman military ensign.

Mr. Boys presented part one of his collection for a history of the town of Sandwich.

Mr. Pownall communicates a letter regarding a curious Roman urn found at Lincoln Castle.

Read a letter from Sir George Yonge concerning some Roman roads and camps described to him in the neighbourhood of Mansfield by Major Rooke.
