The reading of Governor Pownall’s account of the painted ceiling in Peterborough Cathedral is resumed.

A table of the apparent places of the comet of 1661 (whose return is expected in 1789) is presented, including a new method of using the Reticule Rhomboide by Sir Henry Englefield, Bart.

Mr Turner presents a drawing by Mr Cardonell of a monument to the memory of Edward I at Brugh upon the Sands, Carlisle.

Mr Townley presents an engraving of an ancient symbolical cista mystica.
