Addenda, found in a drawer of Prattinton's Indian cabinet (purchased by him at Richard Gough's sale (1810), see Barnard (1931), 8; see also below), and incorporated in November 1990. As follows:-

(1) Bond of Thomas Doone de Asteley, Worcs., in £40 to Francis Lewes, 17 Sept. 9 Eliz. (1567). One seal extant;-

(2) Sale by William Millward to Francis Hughes and his wife Mary of the remainder of a thousand year lease of a messuage on Wyer Hill in Ribbesford, Worcs., 17 May 14 Chas. II (1662);-

(3) Vellum roll containing records of a poor rate in Clifton upon Teme, Worcs., 1681. With signatures of churchwardens, overseers of the poor, and of Rowland Berkeley and Henry Jeffryes;-

(4) Appointment by Francis, Lord Carrington, Lord Lieutenant of Worcester, of Henry Jeffryes as a Deputy Lieutenant, 2 Apr. 4 Jas. II (1688). Signature and small seal of Lord Carrington;-

(5) Letters Patent notifying the appointment of John Danett as High Sheriff of Worcester, 22 Dec. 5 Geo. I (1718). Great Seal and counterseal;-

(6) Note of an exhibit to SA by Wilson Aylesbury Roberts of an old spur, with a formal letter of thanks signed by John Brand, 7, 8 June 1798. Minute Book XXVII, p. 126;-

(7) Letters (3):- John Caley to Prattinton thanking him for the loan of a deed, 4 Feb. 1822; William Clift to Dr Latham relating to a specimen of bones, 9 March 1826; the Hon. Henry B. Lygon, MP for West Worcs., to Prattinton thanking him for his support in the election, 26 March 1835;-

(8) Miscellaneous fragments:- Seals (from a lease, 1615), impressions of Bp Hough's seal, drawings of seals (three in watercolour by Prattinton), tracings;-

(9) Letters to SA conc. Prattinton's bequest, 10 July, 10 Aug. 1841, from his executor, Robert Acton Pardoe, with an extract from the will (see Barnard (1931), 8, 10, 11). With a letter from E. A. B. Barnard to Dr Philip Corder, Assistant Sec. SA, 10 Dec. 1951.
