Assignment by George Almery of London, gent., to Richard Read, citizen and clothworker of London, of his rights in the shop late in the occupation of John Maynard, bookseller, and the messuage belonging to it late in the occupation of Ellen Joanes [Jones], widow, formerly known as The Bull Head [sic], with the goods shown in a schedule to the lease of March 1644/45, which came to Mary Hicks, now the wife of Richard Read, on the death of William Hicks. Endorsed: 'Mr Almeryes bargaine and sale and assignment to me of my wifes lease & goods in discharge of trust'. Signature of George Almery and wrapped wax on seal tag.
